In early 1964, you could purchase regular gas at Drake's General Merchandise on highway 129 for 0.26 cents per gallon.  High test was 0.29 per gallon.  A quart of oil was 0.14 cents.  You also got a free windshield wipe and water level check.

Meanwhile Kesler's Clover Land Supermarket was advertising whole chicken at 0.27 per pound and chicken breast at 0.36 per pound.  Were those the good 'ol days or what?
